BEHIND THE BRAND

Irish Artist and Designer Carolyn Walsh is originally from County Kerry and is now living and working in Dublin as both an Artist and Graphic Designer. Carolyn began her career in art after studying Textile Design in GMIT followed by an MA in Professional Design Practice in DIT.

Carolyn's work is focused on places of meaning and nostalgia. Ranging from our much loved local pubs, beautiful personalised wedding venues to Irish landmarks that hold a particular sentimental value to us.

The original artwork is created using a mixture of photography, transfers, paint and collage on paper. The original is then scanned in and released as a series of limited edition prints. Limited edition prints are printed on an Archival Pigment Printon Hahnemuhle German Etching 310gsm by Inspirational Arts, Dublin.

Recently Carolyn has dipped her toe in the world of Abstract Art and released her first series last year. This series was a great escape and a bit of fun that she hopes to develop further in her artistic career.

Carolyn has exhibited country wide and has also a number of pieces in the collection of the OPW. In addition to this her work has been published in books and magazines worldwide.
